On Sunday, October 26, 2025 I Officer KARTSO was working in full uniform and assigned to (E4) for the Somerville Police Department. Around 2:42 AM I was on my way to get gas and noticed an individual that matched the description of a B&E of a motor vehicle that occurred at ALFREDO's refer to incident #25066748.
I requested for a additional units due to there being two individuals. Officer BITENCOURT and myself detained the two individuals and explained why they were detained. Both individuals were read their Miranda Rights. One party was known to me as THOMAS MILLER. I asked if he took anything from the car and he admitted to going in the car and taking a wallet. Officers later searched MILLER's belongings and found majority of the money in a black sock, with XXXX ID. I asked MILLER where's the rest and he states he went to FALAFEL PLACE and that was it. I later spoke to the other individual identified as XXXX and XXXX immediately stated he had warrants out of Boston. I later asked for unit 200 operated by Officer ROB HARTSGROVE. Out of the $1800 Officers inventoried $1032 and the black wallet and logged it into evidence.
MILLER was arrested for the following charge:
266/16/ B AND E VEHICLE BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY
Respectfully submitted,
Officer Kartso, Tenzing #368
